Budapest day 4 last day

A wonderful day basking in the thermal pools at the Szechenyi Baths. An ornate yellow building, the largest thermal bath of Budapest.
From a guide "The neo-baroque baths were built in 1913. Its thermal springs were discovered in 1879 - they are the deepest and warmest thermal wells in Budapest. It is a vast complex of indoor and outdoor pools, the premier medicinal bath of Pest, situated in the middle of the City Park. "
Many local folks were there relaxing on a Saturday. How refreshing to be in a steamy pool with the cool breezes on our shoulders. Spring in Budapest with young lovers at every corner enjoying a glimpse of the early spring sunshine. Finished up our last evening in the classy Spoon restaurant , a boat overlooking the Danube with all the buildings lit up. A drink of Hungarian quince palinka as the grand finale. The dessert of pumpkin strudel with raspberry foam was good too.
